Android Host Requirements
The Host module is the WiseMo agent that needs to be installed on the Android device. In general, the Host module supports ARM and x86 based devices that run Android version 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4.x (including Android Enterprise) as well as devices running the older Android 2.3x versions.
During installation and start of the Host, Android may ask permission for the Host to access various resources. The user must provide such permission, if prompted.
The Host may also require that a WiseMo add-on module is downloaded and installed. Such a module may be necessary to allow remote desktop control of the device.
Features generally available for all types of devices include File Transfer, Chat, Inventory and Remote Management tasks, as well as remote viewing (Android 5+).
Full Remote Desktop support (i.e. simulation of keystrokes and touch) depends on the device manufacturer but a number of vendors are already supported including Samsung, Honeywell, Zebra, Datalogic and Philips.
